Christiano Ronaldo's free Kick breaks boy's wrist


Footie superstar Christiano Ronaldo left a British fan aged 11 in agony, by smashing his wrist with a free kick.
schoolboy Charlie Silverwood had been taken to see his team Bournemouth host Real Madrid in a friendly, by his father.
His dad ducked as the the 80 million Euros ex-Man United forward's wayward 35-yard rocket scorched into the the stands- breaking his son's wrist in two places.
The lad was so determined not to miss the action he kept watching for the remaining 84 minutes - before going to the hospital where x-rays revealed his double fracture.
He faced operation before being plastered.
Charlie admitted; "it was painful. i've told friends and they cannot believe it.  Ronaldo is the world's most expensive player and he broke my hand. My dad sat next to me and he ducked out of the way so i took the full force."
His father Lee, also a Bournemouth fan, said: "it all started in a blur.
"One minute we were watching Ronaldo stand over and the next it was flying towards Charlie.
"It must have been travelling at a rate of knot and it hit Charlie's wrist."
Ronaldo 28, score twice as the Spanish giants who were paid 750,000 euros to in Sunday's exhibition game- battered the championship side 6 - 0.
One of the goals at the cherries' Goldsands stadium in front of a capacity 12,000 crowd who paid 60 euros a ticket came from a similar trademark free kick.
Bournemouth gave charlie who will be in plaster for the entire six weeks school holiday a Real Madrid shirt signed by Bournemouth team.
The lad's dad said: "it is a game Charlie will never forget."
Real Madrid spokesman Juan Camilo Andradre promised they will donate a memento to Charlie.
